Fans will have an early opportunity to watch the Lions team complete their first laps on the newly shaped Beaumont Park track ahead of the opening Premiership fixture against Swindon.

The practice event will take place on Wednesday 29th March and the Stadium entrance will be open from 2.30 pm.

“We accept that the date is close to our first home meeting and is a weekday which may make it more difficult for fans to attend but this is due to the fact that we need give ourselves as much time as possible to get the stadium ready following Storm Doris and to give the alterations to the track as much time to settle before the practice session. The project to restyle bends one and two is progressing really well and we have also been working on improving the surface levels around the whole circuit so it will be in tip top condition for when we open against Swindon on 1st April” said the Watling JCB Lions Promoter David Darcy.

In the evening the Lions team, Promoters and Team Manager will attend a ‘Meet the Team’ talk-in event in the Stadium Bar from 6.00 pm onwards.

The 2017 Season Tickets will be available for collection on 29th March from 2.30 pm onwards from the Hospitality Box within the stadium and from 6.00pm in the Stadium Bar. For those unable to attend either event the passes will be ready for collection from the Ticket Sales Office before the Premiership fixture against Swindon on Saturday 1st April.
